What counts as a business
A business is a company you are keeping compliant — a legal entity, a subsidiary, a separate brand with its own Trust Center. Most customers have one. Groups have several, and each has its own controls, evidence and public page.

What does it cost?
One package at one price, covering one business, plus a price for every additional business you add. Both amounts are shown at checkout before you confirm anything — they live with our payment provider rather than in this page, so what you see is what gets billed.
Is there a free trial?
Fourteen days of the whole product, with no card and no sales call. Nothing is held back during the trial: it is the same platform you would be paying for.
Do you charge per user?
No. People are unlimited on the package. Charging per seat in a compliance tool means half the company never logs in, which defeats the point of the tool.
What happens if I add a second company?
You see the price for the extra business before you add it, and your subscription is updated to match. Each business has its own controls, evidence, findings and Trust Center.
What if I close a business?
It comes off your bill immediately. Its records remain readable for a stated retention window, with the removal date shown on screen, and you can export the whole business as an archive at any point before then.
Can we self-host?
Yes, under an Enterprise agreement. Trusterio ships as a Docker stack and runs in your own environment, which is usually what is being asked for when data residency is the real question.
